The Smooth Operator

E-Piff was born in New York City and lived in various states before settling down in the Southern Bay Area city of San Jose, California.

Throughout his teens, Piff was a decent student, an ambitious athlete and an avid fan of hip hop however, he didn’t start rapping until the age of 20. Under the name E-Piff, he released 3 mixtapes and began rocking underground shows across the Bay Area, opening for notable acts including GZA of the Wu-Tang Clan and Heiroglyphics. His single “Can U Dig It?” received radio play on multiple underground stations across the Bay Area.

In late 2018, he changed his name to Piff Habanero, claiming it was a better fit for him. He released his debut EP in early 2019 titled, “The Piff Habanero EP”.

Piff’s style is melodic and introspective. He combines catchy harmonizations, with well-penned verses describing scenarios from his personal life.
