Kai is 16 years old and has studied music since his youth, learning piano and saxophone. Additionally, he has attended the Washburn Studio Music School in San Francisco where he continues to learn musical engineering and production. Kai has been DJing with his father, who is a professional DJ and owner of One Aquarian Entertainment. As a DJ apprentice to his father, he has had the opportunity to DJ at various establishments including Lucky Strike and Jillian's in San Francisco.  Kai is a gifted presenter, already having performed as an event MC, DJ, and stand-up comedian in front of more than 500 people. Kai comes from a family of educators, social activists, and artists. Besides music, Kai is also passionate about politics, black empowerment, and social justice. Kai’s community engagement has included volunteering at local senior centers as well as the Office of Equity, Social Justice, and Multicultural Education at De Anza College, where his mother is a professor. Kai has been writing since he was a child, began DJ'ing at 13, and was selling beats by 14. He has produced and worked with many artists, both from the Bay Area and nationwide, such as Omari Dior, MSTC Da Misfit, DJ Toure of Hieroglyphics, and Big Sam of The Eastside Boys. Kai is also a natural-born showman, having opened for acts like Ekoh, Jwalt, Goodie Mob, and The Pharcyde. Kai still lives in the East Bay, where he is a Junior In high school, and continues to pursue his musical dreams.
